Biography
Johnathan Buttermore joined ARC Global Risk in 2022, bringing more than 30 years of insurance industry experience to our team. He currently leads our Small Fleet Division, which specializes in providing services for our trucking clients who operate under a large, self-insured retention. His team’s capabilities range from managing small property damage claims to leading investigations and negotiating complicated losses and litigation. Johnathan’s claims career began in the field, investigating losses, writing estimates on vehicles and meeting with claimants in their homes. From there he steadily progressed to his last role in Risk Management at FedEx Ground. As a claims manager he led a team of multi-jurisdictional specialists who were entrusted with some of the most severe claims and litigation for the company. This broad experience allowed him the opportunity to routinely travel and personally negotiate settlements with some of the most prolific plaintiff firms in the country. Johnathan received both his B.S.B.A. and MBA from Waynesburg College where he majored in accounting and minored in business management.
“I can personally relate to every one of our clients, having the unique experience working in risk management for a trucking company. I believe this helps our team stand out by providing relatability and superior customer service. We accomplish this by focusing only on the trucking industry, which allows us to stay at the forefront of the issues our clients face.”
